Santa Rosalía Lake and Life Resort is located between Torre-Pacheco and the coastal town of Los Alcázares. The resort is designed around a green area of no less than 124,000 m².
The coastal town of Los Alcázares is less than a 10-minute drive away. Here you will find several beaches and a beautiful walking boulevard of seven kilometers long. The village of Torre-Pacheco, with supermarkets, restaurants and terraces is a 5-minute drive away. At the adjacent Mar Menor Golf Resort you can play golf and here too there are restaurants and a supermarket.

Playa La Concha (8 min)
The closest beach to the resort. Quite quiet and nice for sunbathing. Outside the busy season you can park your car at the beach.
La Manga del Mar Menor (25min)
This narrow strip of land between the Mediterranean and the Mar Menor is perfect for water sports such as sailing, windsurfing and diving. The beaches are also ideal for a relaxing day of sunbathing. The water in La Manga stays warm until late in the season! There are also nice restaurants to be found.
Cartagena (30 min)
A historic city with a rich Roman and maritime history. Visit the Roman theatre, the harbour and the various museums.
Murcia (40 min)
The capital of the region offers beautiful architecture such as the Cathedral of Murcia and the Real Casino. Enjoy the lively squares and delicious gastronomy.
Sierra Espuña Regional Park (60 min)
For outdoor enthusiasts, this park is a must-visit. It offers hiking and biking trails, as well as rock climbing and abseiling.
Playa de Mil Palmeras (19 min)
Lovely wide beach with sunbeds and parasols for rent. This is by the sea.

Villamartin Golf Club has an exciting design and many challenges. The course is par 72 and the length is 6132 meters from the white tees, 6037 from yellow, and 5259 from red. (Hole 17 counts as a signature hole and is a par 3 with more than 200 m from the back tee. A deep ravine is collecting many balls, and an extremely undulated green will be a challenge to most players). Hole 17 is the Par 3 signature hole with a demanding 200m carry off the back tee onto an extremely undulating green. The shot from the tee crosses a tree lined deep ravine that protects the hole and presents a challenge to most players. The course is very diverse and unlike many other courses in this part of Spain, none of the holes are equal. One of the challenges is the many old pine and olive trees. Regardless of the challenges one can from several of the holes, enjoy the beautiful view over the Mediterranean Sea.
